No. you can't do that. All of your income, W-2 and 1099-MISC must go on the same tax return. To claim your 1099-MISC you will need to amend the return that you originally filed for your W-2. All you have done is to create a mess for yourself. Your best bet is to take your 1099-MISC to H&R Block and have them amend your return.
