I deployed in 2017 October but I didn't return until October 2018. For saying I was deployed I wont let me enter a date before 1 jan2018. what do I do?

I deployed in 2017 October but I didn't return until October 2018. For saying I was deployed I wont let me enter a date before 1 jan2018. what do I do?

TurboTax need to only know the dates you were deployed in 2018. Therefore, you can enter Jan 1, 2018, as the first day you were deployed in 2018.
