I created an account to file my in-laws taxes and used MY email and phone to create the account. Can I use the same account to file my taxes?

No, you can't have more than one new account with the same email address. You'll have to use or create a different email to create your account. 

If you are preparing multiple returns in the future, the Desktop program will allow you to prepare multiple returns within the software.  See: Desktop

I wish I would have known that beforehand. My assumption was that I would be able to file  another return using the same account but file specific to my individual info. Now I’m unable to do so, as my email is already in use!!!
