If you want to use TurboTax to do that, you have to use 2024 desktop software installed on a computer (not a tablet.)   It cannot be prepared online with TurboTax.    And the 2024 return cannot be efiled with TurboTax; it has to be printed, signed, dated, and mailed.   It is recommended to send it with a method that has tracking.

You can purchase 2024 software directly from TurboTax at this page:

You can use TurboTax to file your 2024 return.  However, you will need to use a desktop version of the program and the return will need to be mailed to the IRS for processing.  Only current year (2025) tax returns can be electronically filed.

Use the following link to see the 2024 program options for TurboTax to purchase, download, and get started.

if you don't want to install s/w or file by mail you can look into other alternatives like FreeTaxUSA that support prior year tax prep online including e-file.
