I claimed myself not knowing that my parents already had. So now I need to unclaim myself because my returns are being rejected. How do I do that on the TurboTax site?

You can indicate that you are a dependent of someone else in the My Info section of the program.  Please follow these steps:

1. Go into your return and click My Info tab in the black bar on the side of your screen.
2. Click  Edit next to your name.  
3. On the Your Personal Info screen, in section #3, for the question Someone else can claim me on their tax return, mark the Yes circle.  
4. Then mark the circle And this person will claim me on their 2018 return and click Continue.
5. Continue with the rest of the return.
