I checked that I got married. I put in her info, and now it's asking strange questions about her that don't make sense. Was she married? Yes, of course, to me. Help!

Next question is "Has or will she file a joint tax return for 2016?" I thought that's what I was doing right now? Filing a joint tax return with her as my new spouse. Please help.

It sounds like you listed her as a dependent, not a spouse. Or listed her in both places. Go to the list of dependents and delete her there. A spouse is not also a dependent if you are married filing jointly.
