I cannot pay me fees with my US credit card. I have checked with my bank and the card is fine but I wonder if it is because of my foreign address?

I have a US address for my card, so I can't understand why it's not going through.

I'm not sure why it is not going through.

For fee payment, we can only accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards with a U.S. billing address....

Please contact TurboTax for assistance with this.

Thanks, to confirm, I'm not an American citizen (or permanent resident)- would this be the reason it's not going through?

If you are considered a US resident that would not be the issue.

Are you a nonresident?  If you are a nonresident, you need to file a nonresident return which TurboTax does not support.   However our partner Sprintax does handle nonresident returns.  Please see the following link;  Sprintax

A US resident is one that has passed substantial presence test:

Substantial Presence Test (SPT)

You will be considered a U.S. resident for tax purposes if you meet the substantial presence test for calendar year 2019.

To meet this test, you must be physically present in the United States on at least:

1. 31 days during 2019 and

2. 183 days during the 3-year period that includes 2019, 2018, and 2017, counting:

a. all the days your were present in 2019 and

b. 1/3 of the days you were present in 2018, and

c. 1/6 of the days your were present in 2017.
