If you are trying to e-file and do not know your IP-Pin number, there is nobody that will be able to help you. You need to take steps to obtain a birth certificate. What is needed will vary by state. Find out what records your state will accept and get a birth certificate issued.
Until you get the birth certificate resolved, you will only be able to file your income tax by mail.
I wish it was that easy. I can't get my ID because I don't have a birth certificate. I can't get my birth certificate because I don't have a ID. I keep going around in circles and tried everything I know to do. I went with my old id's, w-2s,lease,ss card,, check stubbs, mail, and that's not good enough. Ive done the best I can do. Too much red tape to get anything done. It makes me have very hard feelings towards are government because they will end up keeping my money again this year. I've talk to a lot of people trying to figure this out. I've filed multiple complaints and nothing works. Any other suggestions?

I've brought all the things I thought would help prove who I am. And that didn't help. Who would you suggest I talk to because I already know I won't get my issue fixed here. I do appreciate you trying to help me. I'm real close to given up.
You don't need the pin. Just print your taxes and mail them in.
Visit Minnesota where the Governor wants to give you a driver's license.
IRS will mail you an IP PIN for next year if they have your address from your tax return.
