I can not figure out how to apply my refund amount to next years taxes

  1. Click Federal Taxes (or Personal if using Home & Business) then select the Other Tax Situations tab. ( Located after the Health Insurance area) Screenshot attached.
  2. On the Other Tax Situations screen, click Start or Update next to Apply Refund to Next Year (in the Additional Tax Payments section).
  3. Select the first option (apply all or part of it) when asked how you want us to handle your 2016 refund. Click Continue.
  4. Enter the amount you want to apply and proceed.
