This TurboTax FAQ has several scenarios if you are on the same ACA policy but not on the same return.

Why do you believe you cannot claim your daughter?  Or why do you think she cannot claim herself just because of the insurance?  Give us some more information.  How old was she at the end of 2017?  Was she a full-time student in 2017?  Did she earn over $4050 in 2017?

She lived at home but made over 4050. She was 24 at the end of 2017 but was covered under our insurance. She was going to claim herself but since she was covered under our insurance it would not let her claim herself.

She can claim herself.  She is just answering a healthcare question incorrectly.

It wants her to enter a 1095-A and she can't because she is on our insurance

Do YOU have a 1095A?
