To start a new return using TurboTax Desktop: Start TurboTax, Click on "File" in the upper left hand corner of your screen. From the drop down menu select the first option "New Tax Return".

how do you access turbotax premier? I am trying this by myself for the first time but was told I needed turbotax premier because of the complexity of my return.
