I bought and downloaded 2017turbotax deluxe, but it doesnt work with my operating system. can i use online without paying again?

I bought and downloaded 2017turbotax deluxe, but it doesnt work with my operating system. can i use online without paying again?

You cannot use online software to prepare a 2017 return. Online preparation for 2017 is permanently closed.

 The online program can only be used for 2018 returns.  The 2017 desktop software must be used for a 2017 return, or if your return is simple enough, you could prepare it on paper.
