No, if you use the cash method, you cannot claim a payment that a customer denied as a loss, for the simple reason that you did not report the income from that missed payment.

No, if you use the cash method, you cannot claim a payment that a customer denied as a loss, for the simple reason that you did not report the income from that missed payment.
