I believe I paid estimated taxes in 2018 but I have no record. Is there a way i can check this with the IRS?

How did you pay?     Your credit card or back account should have a record.

You can check your IRS Tax Account online at the following link. It will show all the payments you have made for the last 18 months.

Thanks for this link. I thought I had an account, but I didn't. Attempting to create an account, IRS could not verify my mobile phone and so now I wait 5-10 days for postal mail! I wonder what went wrong. I've had the same AT&T mobile number for many years.

I had the same experience with my Verizon Wireless phone. I don't understand why it doesn't work. Obviously there are problems in the system. I've read that less than 30% of the people who try to create an account are able to. But since I created the account a few years ago, I haven't had any other problems.
