I authorized the payment of my tax due at the last step of the TurboTax flow, after filing my Tax Return. The amount due was supposed to be withdrawn but wasn't. Why?

I don't know if I should pay using IRS Pay or will that be redundant? Today is the last day to pay without a penalty.

The withdrawal isn't exercised until AFTER the IRS responds to your filing that it was "Accepted"

Even after it is "Accepted", it may take a few days to be enacted because the IRS is getting a gazillion e-files right now and the computers are overloaded.   As long as your e-file was submitted on time (And then accepted) the payment will be recorded as being paid on-time....as long as the bank info you entered is correct.

In theory it was Accepted 3 days ago, and the funds still haven't been withdrawn.. anyway..

This is great, thank you for the help!

Go back into your tax file,   use the "Add  A State" selection.

Then go to the Print Center and save a  new PDF with all the tax forms and worksheet.

Check the sheet that has the Federal Electronic Filing Instructions on it.

Your payment should be listed there..IF..if you actually set it up properly.
