I asked the system to not offer to download dividends. Now I want to download dividends, how to i change the system back

You will have to clear out the fields of dividend information that you entered manually and basically start that section over.  

To get back to the dividend entry section of TurboTax and clear out the fields you already entered take these steps:

1. Type "1099 DIV" in the search field at the right-hand top of the screen.  
2. Then select "Jump To 1099 DIV" and you should be brought to the section where you entered divided information.  
3. You will need to clear each box where you entered data for your dividend income.  
4. Keep going through the screens until you return to the "Income" screen (where it states, "great, let's keep getting details") and scroll down to "Interest and Dividends" and select Edit on "Dividends on 1099-DIV" 
5. Select YES on the next screen that you received dividend income and on the next screen you should be able to select the bank/broker from which you want to download your 1099-DIV information.
