To enter a dependent child's unearned income on your tax return using Form 8814 -
- Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
- Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
- Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
- Scroll down to Less Common Income
- On Child's Income (Under Age 24), click the start or update button
Or enter child income in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to child income

Did they have any 1099B sales? Sales have to be entered on the children's separate returns.
