Are you using the Desktop CD program installed on her computer?  Or the Online web version?

The Online version is only good for 1 return. But you can use the same email address for 5 accounts. To do another return log out of your account and set up a new account and new user name and pay any fees again.  How to start another return in the Online version

It sounds like you are using your mother's account and user ID --- it is not a computer error--- it is a user error.

When you use Online TurboTax, you get one return per fee.  Each return needs its own account and user ID.   If you use the same account and user ID for a second return, you overwrite the first one and lose it forever.

Did you enter your own name and personal information in My Info?  Go to My Info and see what you have entered.

Yes I am using the program that was sent to her on her computer an everything is addressed to her info, Even though I keep putting in my own info Can you submit a program, using her email address so I can fill in mine, my spouse an my child info an not keep referring to her an her info?

The program?  Do you see a black menu bar going down the left side?  That is the Online version.

Or the menu bar going across the top?  Are you on Windows or Mac?
