I am unable to remove the self-employment income and expenses portion from my income tax. I did not have business income in 2016. Thanks

I wan to make sure this portion does not show up in my final forms, and the costs to file are lower without business income.

Use the "Delete a Form" tool to remove the Schedule C (and any associated worksheets).

After deleting the Schedule C, log out of the program. When you log back in, use the Delete a Form tool to confirm the Schedule C has been removed from the list of forms in your return.
