I am unable to file by mail, so to print returns at the end of the turbotax process. Does anyone know how to get around this?

Caught in a vicious circle at the end of filing with turbo tax. It does not give me option to print my federal returns in order to file by mail.

I'm linking you to the TurboTax FAQ that explains how to file by mail. There is one specific point in the FAQ that explains why this "may" be happening. See if the instructions help you out.
