form 8615, turbo tax said I indicated that I am but I am not.

Your question is a little unclear. What part of Form 8615 is TurboTax advising needs to be modified?

I'm having the same issue. Specifically TT says "You have indicated on Form 8615 that you are electing to modify tax of unearned income"

Not sure why or how this was marked. My son sold stock that I gave him a few years ago. He was still in college at the time so I counted him on my taxes. This message shows up on his tax return as he's filing it.
