I am trying to get last years tax return but the article that was sent does not match the pages. I’m seeing on the desktop and or the phone.

When I go to my profile..there is no button to download the documents. I clicked on the document button but there is nothing there.. and I have been with turbo tax for 8 years

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Start the 2023 online tax return by entering some personal information then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.

On the Tax Home webpage -

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

For a fee of $43 you can get a complete federal tax return from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf

Yes, you may have more than one TurboTax account.

To recover your account, start here.

Enter your email address and then enter the verification code. The next screen will show you every account name connected to your email and the date you last used it.

Pick the one that seems most likely to be the one you used already. You will have to verify it again and may be prompted to change your password.

You can repeat this as many times as needed to find the account you in which you started your return.
