I am trying to file with free edition but I am not seeing it. Why am I being forced to pay for deluxe when I am only doing a simple return this ime?

Turbotax online for 2021 is closed so it can be updated for 2022 returns. your choice is to buy the CD/download - full PC or Mac or use the IRS free file if you qualify.

You are too late to use online TurboTax, so you have a choice of using the purchased CD/download on a full PC or Mac, or using some other software to prepare your tax return.

Try the IRS site for the Free File software---but hurry, it will be closed down soon too.

Use this IRS site for other ways to file for free. There are 8 free software versions available from the IRS Free File site
