If your provider has not given you the social security number or an EIN, you must get it directly from the provider. No one else can get it for you.
I have her social but my federal is already filed I’m trying to file my state but I can’t find where to add her social I don’t see the child care at all
Once you start entering it on your federal return under the Child/Dependents Care expenses it will ask for the SSN or EIN of provider, this is required before filing federal, it will transfer only the required information from your federal return to your state return. You will not have to worry about double entering most information with TurboTax unless your specific state needs you to confirm, or it asked you about it in the state interview. You could always go over state again depending which state you live in, and check deduction for child/dependent care if offered by your state, and add additional information if it is required or not showing, click edit next to the deduction section for child care expenses if there is one in your state. More clarification like which state you live in is needed, and if you actually already filed your federal without the SSN or EIN of the provider?
