I am trying to enter W2Gs but continue to receive a message that states "Something went wrong" when I click "Yes" to enter a W2G. Is this a bug being fixed?

Are you entering it in the right place?  You do not enter it in the same place as a W-2 from an employer.

 

To enter the W-2G  or other documents For your Gambling winnings--Go to Federal>Wages & Income>Less Common Income>Gambling Winnings

Just entered a form W-2G using the Premium online edition with no issues.

Close your TurboTax online edition.  Clear cache and cookies on your web browser - see this TurboTax support FAQ - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/intuit-account-settings/help/how-do-i-clear-my-cache-and-cookies/0...

Sign back onto your online account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

See if the problem persists.  If it does, change your web browser to either Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge (whichever one you are not currently using)

Thanks, I tried all these recommendations (clear ing cookies, cache, different browser etc) still no luck, continue to get “something went wrong” message only when navigating the W2G section. I get the same even if trying the app. I will give it some time and try later.
