I am stuck in an Infinite Loop on Federal Review. I have this prompt, Check This Entry, Person on the Retun Worksheet(My First Name): Enrollmentstatus must be entered.

Every time I try to review it brings me back to the review page where I have to review it. Since I can't correct it, I can't file my taxes. I can't get live help unless I pay for it. I can't file taxes until I review what I need to review. I can't review due to a website error. Extortion? Plus, it says "Retun" and "Enrollmentstatus". Bug.

If TurboTax is not letting you continue, you can try the following:

Go out of your program and go back in.
Clear your cache and cookies.
Try a different Web Browser.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop make sure all updates have been run on your program. You can do this by clicking on "Online" in the black bar across the top of your TurboTax screen. And then select "Check for Updates".

If you have any additional questions or information regarding this please return to TurboTax Community and we would be glad to help.

I am using the desktop version and just installed the latest updates.  Still getting the same error.

Here are some other troubleshooting tips that can help with your issue:

  1. Make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements.
  2. Make sure you have administrator rights on your computer and TurboTax is running as administrator:
    • Right-click the TurboTax icon or setup icon and select Properties. In the Compatibility tab, select the Run this program as administrator box and select OK.
  3. In the Control Panel under Internet Options, add https://*.intuit.com to Trusted Sites. Set security level to Medium.
  4. Turn off antivirus software and Windows Defender.
    • Add TurboTax Desktop to your allowed apps in Windows Defender.
  5. Clean up and defragment your hard drive.
  6. Run Windows Update to keep your computer up-to-date.
  7. Update your computer's hardware drivers.
  8. Update your security software for firewall, virus, and spyware protection.
  9. Make sure you're the only user on your computer running TurboTax. If you're not, switch users and sign out of TurboTax from the other account. If you can't do that, shut down your computer and try again. (Error: 70001)

I did all this but still getting the same error.

I last worked on this return several weeks ago and had no errors.  Today when I started Turbo Tax it prompted me to check for updates, which I did.  After that finished I reopened the return.  I made no changes, but when I went to efile and the program did it's final check, that's when this error popped up.
