Am I all good
This is a user community forum, so no one here knows anything specific about your return. Are you sure you have entered ALL of your W-2's, 1099's (if any), or other tax forms you have received? Be sure there is not a W-2, 1099, 1098, or other tax form that you've forgotten about that hasn't come yet. Some employers and financial institutions are still sending out their forms in coming days. So if you had multiple jobs or financial accounts, be careful.
Have you finished preparing your return and are now ready to file it? Before going to the FILE section, go through the REVIEW tab to be sure it's not flagging any areas that need review. You should also print out a copy of your return and look it over carefully before submitting it. When you go through the FILE tab, it should at some point give you a chance to print it. If it doesn't we can tell you another way to print it.
If you need to ask additional questions to this forum, be sure to say what product edition you are using--Free Edition, Deluxe, or Premium.
If you see that it's trying to charge you for something you didn't expect, be sure to ask in this forum BEFORE paying. It may be easier to resolve if you haven't paid, because we may be able to tell you how to remove something.
ADDENDUM
Here's some more info that may help with efiling:
When filing, be sure to go through all 3 steps in the File process. After choosing a refund option (if applicable), and paying (if you have any fees) ,you will have to continue on to electronically sign your return. If you filed a return last year it will ask you to verify by entering the 2024 AGI. If you did not file a 2024 return, you can either tell the program that you did not file a 2024 return, or you can enter 0 for your 2024 AGI. Then a signature screen will ask you to electronically "sign" by entering a PIN (any 5 digits you choose, but not all zeros), your birth date and today's date. Finally, you will get a screen with a big orange button that says "Transmit Returns Now." Click that button to transmit the return(s).
After filing you should get 2 emails. The first one relatively soon will confirm that the return was submitted. That one will be followed by a second email up to 24-48 hours (may be sooner or later) saying if the efile was accepted or rejected.
