Did you file a Joint return for 2015?  If so, was his name listed first on the return?

I have history from a rental that need to go on my return.
How do I transfer it to my new account if I have to start a new return?

@ptmiller5  Please post a new separate question of your own, giving the details of your own situation, including why you are creating a new account.

I am [Name], not [Name 2]. We are divorced

If you previously filed a joint married return using turbotax and your spouse was the first or top named taxpayer, then after your divorce you have to create a new account.  You can't use the old account and make yourself the top or first named taxpayer.  This confuses both turbotax and the IRS.  Sorry.  You can create a new account, and if you have information that needs to carry over, you'll have to enter it manually.

TurboTax does not recommend using the old account, even if your name was first on the joint return. Completely removing the spouse from a joint return is difficult, and may lead to errors in your tax return. The recommended procedure is to start over with a new account if you previously filed a joint return and are now filing by yourself.
