I want to start my personal return now. How can I close out my daughter's return, and start a new return for my wife and me?

Online is only good for one return per account. But you can use the same email address for 5 accounts.

Do not try to start your own tax return in the same account that you used for your daughter's return. If you do that, your daughter's return will be deleted permanently and irretrievably. Follow the instructions at the link that VolvoGirl posted to start your own return in a new account. A TurboTax Online account can be used for only one tax return.
