You must use your W-2 on the 2020 tax return, not a paystub. Employers have until 02/01/2021 to provide a 2020 W-2.
The tax refund advance will only be offered, if you are eligible, after the 2020 federal tax return has been completed, e-filed and accepted by the IRS.

UNTIL all the forms in the REVIEW tab are ready for filing that option will not be available in the FILE tab. With the recent changes the form 1040 will probably be delayed past the expected 1/7 date posted.
And you MUST wait for the W-2 to file the return ... make sure the employer has your current address so it can be mailed by 2/1. AND the IRS will not start processing returns until at least 1/27 so you can and should wait for the form to arrive as required by law. AND if your return has EIC or the ACTC on it those returns will not start processing before 2/15 so waiting will not hurt you at all.
