2018 tax software will not be released until late in the year--usually sometime in November. You can try using the tax caster tool.

Online is only for 2017 still. And you should not test anything in your real online return. You could start a new account to test in but that would still be only for 2017. You can do testing in the Desktop CD/Download program. It has a What-If Worksheet and you can save your return with another name to test in.
