I am in Texas and I need to pay my taxes. TurboTax says I have to pay the IRS direct but there is not option for that in the turbotax process.

How do I move forward to file via turbotax?

Pay the federal taxes owed on the IRS payment website using Direct Pay - https://www.irs.gov/payments

In the TurboTax program select the option to pay the taxes owed by mail with a check.  Then do not send a check if you are paying using the IRS website.

You do not have to pay your federal tax "through" TurboTax.   You could mail a check or money order to the IRS or pay directly on the IRS site.

Because the national filing and payment deadline was May 17, you cannot choose to use direct debit and specify a date for that now even though there is an extension until June 15 for residents of Texas.  So choose a different method of payment.
