I am filing my 2021 return and got asked if I received my third stimulus check, I haven't not but I am waiting for it because I file amended return for 2020 how do I answer to this question?

You say no.    You are not going to get the 3rd stimulus based on an amended 2020 return.   You can only get it by using the recovery rebate credit on your 2021 return.

You didn't get the 3rd Stimulus payment of 1,400 per person based on your Original 2020 return?  Was your income too high?  Why did you amend?

I amended because I declared by  mistake that I someone else could claim me as a dependent and because of this I never received the stimulus

Ok then you should get the Recovery rebate credit for it unless your income is too high.  Check you 1040 line 30 for it.

Did you fix this year so you are not a dependent?  Go back to My Info and check.
