I am filing an Illinois e-tax for the first time and am asked to provide my IL-pin. I don't have one, is there any way to use my driver license's number instead?

You can also try to use your 8-digit Illinois PIN, which you might be able look up at the Illinois Department of Revenue's website. http://tax.illinois.gov/Individuals/  Under the File/Get your IL-PIN section

If not, you will have to print and mail your tax return.
