I am divorced. We each claim 1 child when we file at the end of year. My question is, can I claim both children along with myself as allowances on my W4?

What you claim on your W4 at work does not have to match your actual tax return. But you might end up owing on your tax return if you don't have enough withholding taken out.

On child tax credit. It is only allowing me to get $1000 back. My children at 13 and 9, under the age of 17 which should qualify me for the full tax credit of $4000?
