No, you do not have to enter anything about that on your 2025 tax return.   The IRS knows if you have a payment plan.      If your 2025 return shows a refund, the IRS will offset the refund and apply the refund toward the back taxes you owe automatically.  They will send you a letter a few weeks after they do that.

No. Any income that is required to be reported on your tax return and later causes a tax payment to the IRS, isn't a deductible payment on your tax return.

 

Example of a deduction: A payment of state or city tax that is being collected for a prior year could be a deduction for itemized deductions.
