If you corrected any mistakes and printed and filed your return by mail, then you can consider your return filed.

Without knowing the
Rejection Code that the IRS sent with your rejected return, I can not say why
it was rejected. Having a rejected return does not mean that you will not
get your tax refund, it means that you need to correct your return and resubmit
it to the tax authority.
