I am confused as to what I report from a 1099 int. at the end of the 1099-int says total tax-free muni not subj (AMT Box 8 on form 1099 int) $262.50. so I do not fill ?

If you have an amount in Box 8 on your 1099-Int form, check the box 'My form has info in more than just box 1' in order to make the Box 8 entry (screenshot).
