What PIN are you referring to?
The 6 digit Identity Protection PIN is only sent by the IRS each tax year after a identity theft report has been received by the IRS.
If the IP PIN is not what you are referring to then no other PIN would be required for someone being claimed as a dependent.

The only way to get the IP PIN is through the IRS. Have you tried this IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/retrieve-your-ip-pin
