Where did you enter the 1099? Was it a 1099R that you received? Did you enter it as a W2 instead of a 1099R?
If so, Click the following to enter your 1099-R:
You will need to then go to your income summary page and click delete next to the W2 that shows. This will remove the W2 error.
If this was a 1095 to report Medicare, then you would not need to enter that form on your return.
If this was a 1095-A for insurance you received through the Marketplace select the following:
Thank you, but I did all that and its not working. I have nothing under W2s I dont understand why this is happening I have used Turbo Tax for like the last 4 years. But I have done it correctly but for some reason its saying stuff about the 1040 and W2
It would be helpful to have a TurboTax ".tax2022" file that is experiencing this issue.
You can send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information. If you would like to do this, here are the instructions:
Go to the black panel on the left side of your program and select Tax Tools.
We will then be able to see exactly what you are seeing and we can determine what exactly is going on in your return and provide you with a resolution.
I have done that, but forgot to write my token number down :(
Go ahead and do it again and generate a second code. Thanks!

This is an IRS system e-filing issue that they are aware of and working on. You can see Known Issues and Solutions to monitor when there are updates.
So basically just wait a month mabye?
It depends, as @AliciaP1 stated for the known issues, the IRS will continue to reject until they fix on their part. Please click this link to double check the status which may be updated every so often. Last update 02/01/2023. The IRS is working on it.
Man, I hate the Government lol! Hate waiting on them.
