I am being forced to upgrade because of "Schedule 2, Additional Taxes", but I do not have additional taxes. Are there any fields I should revisit?

What additional taxes from Schedule 2?

You can view your Form 1040 plus Schedules 1, 2 and 3 at any time using the online editions. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.

So I am having the same issue, but the additional taxes is empty and there is no option to view 1040 on the page.
