The IRS says that if I meet the following five conditions, I must file Form 8615.
1. You had more than $2,100 of unearned income.
2. You are required to file a tax return.
3. You were either:
a. Under age 18 at the end of 2018,
b. Age 18 at the end of 2018 and didn’t have earned income
that was more than half of your support, or
c. A full-time student at least age 19 and under age 24 at the
end of 2018 and didn’t have earned income that was more than
half of your support.
4. At least one of your parents was alive at the end of 2018.
5. You don’t file a joint return for 2018.
I do not meet condition 5 as I am filing a joint return for 2018 with my spouse. I want to clarify that I can remove Form 8615 from my return. I was also required to pay to upgrade my account in order to access this form. If I don't need this form, I would like to remove the upgrade and receive a refund.

Make sure your information is correct in the My Info section, such as Birth Date, and that you are shown as a Spouse, not a Dependent, and that you can't be claimed on anyone else's return.
Be sure your Filing Status shows as 'Married Filing Jointly'.
One of these items is incorrect, if you were asked to upgrade for Form 8615.
Since you don't pay until you file your return, you can 'Clear and Start Over' to downgrade in TurboTax Online, or you may qualify for the Free File Program.
