You can file an extension of your tax return. If you owe taxes, they will need to be paid, but the extension will give you more time to complete your return. See how to file an extension below:

I realized that I haven't been reporting my form 8606 correctly. My cost basis has been missing (not accumulating) for each year's contribution. Is there a way to amend?
