They can add you immediately but they will have to print and mail their return to get it accepted.

They can add you immediately but they will have to print and mail their return to get it accepted.

Your amended return form 1040X must be printed and mailed to the IRS. It can't be efiled.

Likewise, you parents can not longer e-file; they must file by snail mail.
