I am actively paying down my back child support, according to a payment plan proposed by Utah ORS. Will they still take my Federal and State tax return?
The amount owed is roughly $1,600.00 or so, and I am currently paying it down every payday.

Yourstate refund can be and will most likely will be taken to pay the arrears for child support. The Federal can be taken as well, but in some cases it is not.
You can see if the federal will be offset by calling: 1- 800-304-3107, they will let you know if there is a pending offset of your federal refund.
