TurboTax does not support tax returns (or forms) related to nonresident alien taxpayers.

However, you can still file an extension request by going to the following IRS.gov website, and obtaining Form 4868 (a.k.a. Application for Automatic Extension of Time To File U.S. Individual Income Tax Return):

https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4868.pdf

Once you have that Adobe Acrobat document, simply print out Page 1.  You can fill out the form itself by hand, and then mail it in an envelope.

With respect to filing your actual tax return, while TurboTax does not support (or contain) the necessary forms for nonresident aliens, we have partnered with a company called "Sprintax.com" to offer nonresident tax preparation services.

They should be able to help you; and we hear that most customers are pleased with their services.  If you decide to use them, as a nonresident alien, then you won't need to find a specialized tax lawyer or accountant.  In short, they are a cost-effective way to take care of your nonresident tax compliance needs.

For further information you can visit them on the internet at:

We hope all this information will prove useful to you, and thank you for considering TurboTax.
