For what purpose? It does not sound like you can be a dependent on their tax return. Are you related to them?

"resident of the household" has nothing to do with your income tax return. Are you in a different state than the one you normally live or work in? Are you really trying to ask about what to do in regard to your 2020 state tax returns? What states?
