I am a college student and filing my own income tax return. Why is Turbo asking for information on Form 8615 which is pertaining to my parents tax returns?

If you had more than $2,600 in unearned income some of your income is taxed at your parent’s tax rate-the Kiddie Tax. If you have a filing requirement any scholarship amount not used for qualified education expenses is considered unearned income.
