When entering your personal information, please make sure that your mark "Yes" in the following questions:

• Someone else can claim me as a dependent on their tax return
• And this person will claim me on their 2016 tax return

I just filed my taxes and my parents are going to claim me this year, but i answered yes for the first question and no for the other. will that effect my parents not be able to claim me?

I noticed you are posting from a very expensive version of TurboTax.  Did you get paid in cash or receive a 1099Misc for your earnings?
