I already have an account, but don't want to itemize this year, so I elected the free version, but it doesn't seem to be recognizing my past data?

You cannot import into the Turbo Tax free edition. In other words, it will not recognize your past data entered. You would need to upgrade to a "paid for" version of Turbo Tax in order to import. Here's how you can do that,
